Terms & Conditions for JCandy Beauty Services Limited

JCandy recommends client undergo a 48 hour patch test for chemical base treatment prior to initial appointment. The test is designed to identifiy any potential allergic reactions to products that will be used during your treatment.

You can opt out from having a patch test by simply completing a client waiver; if you proceed to book and not complete patch test or complete our client waiver form.  JCandy will regard this as implied consent to treat- JCandy can not be held liable for any negative implications from treatment(s) as a result.

Appointments and Cancellations: All JCandy Beauty Services Limited therapists are fully trained and adhere to company treatment protocols. However, we do not guarantee continued treatment with a specific therapist.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact JCandy Beauty Services at least 48 hours before your scheduled treatment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in the forfeiture of a treatment from your package or the loss of a deposit (minimum £30).

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment to complete any necessary paperwork. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or the forfeiting of the appointment. While we strive to ensure appointments run on time, should we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will make every effort to notify you in advance.

Clients will be informed of any preparation required prior to their appointment. Failure to follow pre-treatment guidelines may result in appointment cancellation, reduced treatment time, or additional fees.

Clients attending with children must bring another adult to supervise the child during the appointment. If an adult chaperone is not present, the appointment may be cancelled, resulting in the forfeiture of a treatment or deposit. Children under 16 should not be left unattended in the salon.

Service-Specific Terms

Waxing

Clients must ensure the area to be waxed is clean and free from oils or lotions. For the best results, hair should be at least a quarter-inch long.

Post-treatment, avoid sun exposure, hot baths, or saunas for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation.

Facial Treatments

Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face for facial treatments. Avoid exfoliating products for 48 hours prior to the appointment.

Post-treatment, follow any aftercare advice provided, such as using gentle skincare products and avoiding direct sunlight.

Brow Definition

Refrain from tweezing or waxing your brows at least two weeks before your appointment to allow for optimal shaping.

After treatment, avoid applying makeup on the brow area for 24 hours and follow aftercare guidelines to maintain results.

Massages

Arrive hydrated and wear comfortable clothing. Avoid heavy meals before your session.

Post-massage, drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and promote muscle recovery.

Eyelash Extensions

Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes to ensure the best adhesive bond. Avoid using oil-based products on your eyes prior to the appointment.

Post-treatment, avoid water, steam, and heavy eye products for 24-48 hours to allow proper setting of the extensions.

Botox

Clients should avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours before treatment.

Post-treatment, do not lie down or engage in strenuous activities for four hours to prevent product migration.

Microdermabrasion

Avoid using retinol or exfoliating products for one week before the appointment.

Post-treatment, use gentle skincare and avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours.

Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening

Ensure the skin is clean and free from makeup before treatment. Avoid tanning and harsh skincare products for two weeks prior.

Post-treatment, follow all aftercare instructions carefully to promote healing and achieve the best results.

Microblading

Refrain from using retinol and other active skincare products one week before your appointment.

After the procedure, avoid touching, picking, or getting the brows wet for 7-10 days to allow proper healing.

Courses of Treatments All treatment courses must be paid in full prior to the first session and completed within 12 months (6-session course) or 18 months (9-session course). Unlimited laser courses allow a maximum of 48 sessions and are subject to a three-month non-medical gap between sessions.

We operate a no-refund policy; refunds are only considered for medical reasons. If a refund is agreed upon, it will be calculated by deducting the full list price of completed treatments and any non-attendance charges from the total course cost.

Liability JCandy Beauty Services Limited is not liable for any economic loss (including, but not limited to, loss of profit) or other special, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the provision of services or goods.

Clients must disclose relevant medical information before each treatment. JCandy Beauty Services Limited is not liable for any issues arising from the client’s failure to disclose such details. Clients must adhere to all aftercare instructions provided. These terms do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury due to JCandy Beauty Services Limited’s negligence.

GDPR Compliance Your privacy is important to us. You can request a copy of any information we hold about you or request its deletion. If you have not engaged with us for over ten years, your data will be deleted. We collect minimal data necessary for business operations, such as your name and contact details, as well as notes on the services you receive to ensure high-quality service. Consent for storing personal and service-related data is assumed when you receive services from us.

For medical-related services, we may ask for relevant health information and will obtain your consent before storing such data (e.g., allergies, pregnancy status, or medical conditions).

Data Protection We take data protection seriously and ensure that all client information is handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal and medical data will be securely stored and only used as necessary for service provision, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications.
